The hand painted genuine African Ostrich Eggs by Daisuke Sakaguchi, Now available exclusively at Selfridges London and The Faberge Big Egg Hunt Pop-Up Shop in The Covent Garden Piazza until 9th April, the Easter Weekend! 

The “MIRAI” Faberge Ostrich eggs are limited edition of only 10, accompanied with the hand signed certificate to make the perfect Easter Egg Gift! 

These art collectors’ items are retailed at £330 each and as part of The Faberge Big Egg Hunt Exhibition, the proceeds will be going to Mark Shand’s “The Elephant Family” foundation and the “Action For Children” charity!

Yes Yes Peeps! I hope you are all Very Well! Some of you may have already been to visit my Giant “MIRAI” Egg, THANK YOU! For those who havn’t, this is the last weekend before all the eggs in London get collected up next week! Whether you have visited it already or not, I would LOVE for All of you to come to my EGG GATHERING this Sunday 25th March. It will be a very casual afternoon meet up to see all my mates and any new peeps and show you what I’ve created for The Faberge Big Egg Hunt Exhibition. My Egg is Nested on Newburgh Street, Central London, just outside the red Lacoste shop. I will be there from 2.30pm till 5.30pm. The weather is going to be great, so if you are on the way to the park or shopping, please pass through for a catch up or to just say hi! Spread the word and feel free to bring your friends and pets! As a London born Japanese artist, Daisuke Sakaguchi’s underlying and inimitable aesthetic expresses his love for creative design, the culture that comes with it and the fusion of his Japanese and British roots. 

Daisuke has been chosen as one of the 200 leading artists from around the world to create a spectacular exclusive giant Egg for The Faberge Big Egg Hunt 2012, London’s biggest ever outdoor exhibition!
Taking the form of the body suit, Daisuke’s fully hand painted Irezumi inspired “Mirai” Egg can be viewed nested proudly on Newburgh Street, Central London!
The line up for this mammoth interactive display includes Vivienne Westwood, Sir Ridley Scott, Zaha Hadid, Chapman Brothers, Zandra Rhodes and Sir Peter Blake!

The exhibition launched on 21st February, Shrove Tuesday a.k.a Pancake Day and for 40 days and 40 nights, all 200 Eggs will be nested in the streets of London and auctioned to raise money for two awesome charities, the “Elephant Family” and “Action for Children”.
